WOMEN’S WELLNESS CENTER

Siddeeqa Institute is excited to launch its Women’s Wellness Center, aimed at the holistic wellness of Muslim women.
We believe that while the most important aspect of our existence is our spiritual self and its health and development, this is not possible without the soundness of the rest, and holistic healing and nurturing are necessary to fulfil the purpose of our creation and to strengthen our connection with our Creator, and hence actualize our true potential
Aspects of Holistic Wellness
Physical Wellness | Includes proper nutrition, adequate exercise, timely identification of diseases, protection from bodily harm, sleep management, weight management; menstruation, birth control, pregnancy, childbirth and post-natal care, etc. |
Mental Wellness | Includes mindfulness, self-awareness, positive self-image, positive thinking, time management, planning, productivity, identifying the need for mental health support, coping with adversity, etc. |
Emotional Wellness | Includes accurate identification and appropriate expression of emotions, self-esteem building, optimism, stress management, etc. |
Intellectual Wellness | Includes opinion formation in an era of information overload, sifting between reliable and unreliable sources, critical thinking, creativity, etc. |
Social Wellness | Includes building healthy relationships, identifying and managing toxic relationships, communication skills, community-building, social activism, conflict resolution, etc. |
Environmental Wellness | Includes living in harmony with nature, minimizing harm to the environment, protecting ourselves from the impact of environmental disasters, etc. |
Financial Wellness | Includes career counselling, discussion of work from home options, ensuring shari’ah compliancy of small businesses, budgeting, saving, investment. |
Spiritual Wellness | Includes finding a higher purpose, strengthening and deepening our relationship with the Creator ﷻ, learning about and acting in accordance with His Will, being concerned about the Hereafter, mindfulness in worship, etc. |
