Essential Islamic Education Program
ESSENTIAL ISLAMIC EDUCATION PROGRAM

This is a shorter, more flexible program for women who are not able to commit to the ‘alima course but still wish to learn the basics of the deen. Every semester a set of subjects is offered, and students can choose from these as few or as many subjects as they wish, with time commitment ranging from one up to nine hours per week. Once all the required coursework is completed, a certificate of completion is awarded, regardless of the number of semesters this takes. Those who take the full set of subjects every semester will be able to complete the course in two years. One may join as a regular student and attempt assignments, quizzes and exams to earn a certificate at the end, or as a listener in which case they do not have to attempt the assignments, quizzes and exams, and will not be awarded a certificate.
